1. Introduction

Welcome to MOP2TOP (MOP TO THE TOP CLEANING SERVICES INC.).
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website www.mop2top.com, our booking system, communication channels, and all cleaning services provided by MOP2TOP.

By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Definitions

  • “MOP2TOP” / “We” / “Us” refers to MOP TO THE TOP CLEANING SERVICES INC.

  • “Client” / “You” refers to the individual or business using our website or services.

  • “Website” refers to www.mop2top.com.

  • “Service” refers to any cleaning service provided by MOP2TOP.

3. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse or interfere with the operation of the website.
You may not:

  • Modify, copy, or reproduce website content without permission

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website

  • Upload harmful code or disrupt website functionality

  • Misrepresent your identity when using our forms or booking tools

Wix hosts our website and provides secure, encrypted systems for protection.

4. Service Booking & Confirmation

A. Booking

All cleaning services require an online booking request or direct communication through our official channels:

Bookings made through unverified channels (personal messages, third-party accounts) are not accepted.

B. Deposit Requirement

Each booking requires a non-refundable $100 deposit, applied toward the final invoice.

C. Minimum Charge

Every cleaning session has a minimum charge of $100 and a minimum service duration of 3 hours, even if the work requires less time.

D. Pricing

Pricing is based on:

  • Service type

  • Space size

  • Condition of the property

  • Selected package (Basic, Standard, Premium)

  • Additional labour time

  • Add-ons or extra services requested

Rates are posted on:

  • Our website

  • Our official social media

  • Via official email communication

We do not accept or recognize pricing from any outside source.

E. Price Matching

We offer price matching with trusted and reputable local cleaning providers offering comparable services, subject to verification and feasibility.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

A. Cancellation

Clients must cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours result in loss of deposit.

  • Cancellations before 24 hours retain the deposit as credit for 90 days.

B. Rescheduling

Rescheduling must be requested 24 hours in advance.

  • Rescheduling within 24 hours is treated as a cancellation.

  • Clients may reschedule once without penalty.

  • Additional changes may require a new deposit.

6. Access & Safety Requirements

Clients must ensure:

  • Safe and uninterrupted access to the property

  • Availability of parking (or reimbursement if required)

  • Pets are secured

  • Valuables are safely stored

  • Working utilities (water, electricity, lighting)

Unsafe or inaccessible properties may result in rescheduling or adjusted pricing.

7. Service Limitations

Our cleaners do not handle:

  • Hazardous materials or biohazards

  • Animal or human waste

  • Mold remediation

  • Infestation cleanup

  • Heavy construction debris

  • High-risk or unsafe environments

  • Climbing above 2-step ladders

  • Moving heavy furniture or large appliances

These limitations protect both staff safety and client property.

8. Property Condition & Additional Charges

If the property condition differs significantly from the client’s description, MOP2TOP reserves the right to:

  • Adjust the pricing

  • Add extra labour fees

  • Reschedule the appointment

  • Decline unsafe jobs

This includes excessive clutter, hoarding conditions, strong odors, heavy grease, or biohazard risks.

9. Payments

Accepted Methods

  • Online payment through our secure website

  • Debit or credit card

  • E-transfer to cleaning@mop2top.com

  • Commercial invoicing (approved clients only)

Payment Terms

Final payment is due upon service completion unless an agreement is made beforehand.

Manual Payment (E-Transfer)

Clients choosing e-transfer must send to:

Registered Name: MOP TO THE TOP CLEANING SERVICES INC.
Auto-deposit enabled — no password required.

10. Satisfaction Guarantee

If a client is unsatisfied with any part of the cleaning, they must notify us within 24 hours.
We will return to correct the issue at no additional charge.

The guarantee does not apply if:

  • New messes occur after our cleaners leave

  • Areas were inaccessible

  • Excessive clutter blocked cleaning

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We follow strict privacy practices and do not share or sell client information.

12. Employee Screening & Training

All MOP2TOP cleaners are:

  • Pre-screened

  • Background-checked

  • Police-verified

  • Professionally trained in cleaning techniques and safety

  • Trained to handle all cleaning materials correctly

This ensures client safety, trust, and consistent quality.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, text, graphics, logos, icons, and materials are the exclusive property of MOP TO THE TOP CLEANING SERVICES INC.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

14. Limitation of Liability

MOP2TOP is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Weak or unsealed surfaces

  • Items not secured properly by the client

  • Natural wear and tear

  • Damage caused by incorrect information provided

  • Allergic reactions to cleaning products (unless prior request was made)

Clients must inform us of fragile items, special surfaces, or product sensitivities.

15. Changes to Terms

MOP2TOP reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
